Intellective Records is the cooperative effort of numerous independent musicians around the world. Headed by New York based songwriter Timothy Daniel, the organization does not operate for profit. Each compilation CD released, concert event booked, or marketing campaign launched benefits the artists involved directly and exclusively. Promoting one another and pooling resources are affords everyone involved the presence and volume buying power of a record label.
Uncompromising discernment is one element which sets us apart from other artist unions. By definition, the word "intellective" describes anything which is the result of intelligence and contemplation. All of the music featured on projects bearing the Intellective Records name is thoughtful. Existing companies are doing a fine job of bringing attention to marketable artists without screening for musical integrity. We will happily leave the vacant and unoriginal for them.
